Fundraising Manager - Corporate Campaigns

Position Accountability
The Fundraising Manager reports to the Senior Fundraising Manager and is responsible for
the renewal and growth of the annual fund raising activities with an assigned account
portfolio from major partner corporations and organizations. Requires flexibility to work
some non-traditional hours and travel throughout the DuPage County Area.
Principal Responsibilities
• Develops strategic Account Plans for major accounts and manages all assigned
companies/organizations year round to significantly maximize corporate, employee and
special event revenues in each account and their portfolio as a whole.
• Develops, in conjunction with the volunteer and staff leadership, a strategic group
campaign plan to maximize campaign results. Evaluates results and develops corrective
and/or improved procedures and methods for the next campaign.
• Establishes, tracks and analyzes campaign goals, projections and pledge information
through a variety of campaign reports. Ensure accurate data collection (data management),
following ANDAR protocol, for Fundraising Managers and Loaned Executives.
Demonstrates prioritization and drive towards achieving goals.
• Implements strategies, in conjunction with Senior Fundraising Manager and team, to
ensure campaign objectives are achieved.
• Prepares appropriate material (CEO call information) for use by Volunteers when calling
on companies for renewing campaigns, personal contributions and/or corporate gifts.
• Develops and cultivates ongoing relationships with organizations and Campaign Leaders
(Employee Campaign Coordinators) to improve understanding and support of United Way.
• Works closely with one or more Loaned Executives to staff and support workplace
campaigns and maximize dollars raised.
• Collaborates with Leadership Giving and Major Gifts staff to grow individual gifts in the
annual campaign.

Minimum Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university or equivalent of education and
experience.
2. At least two years work experience in a related field with fundraising or account
management background preferred.
3. Demonstrates effective communication skills, both written & verbal.
4. Fully proficient and experienced in latest version of Microsoft Office Environment (Word,
Excel and PowerPoint).
5. Fully proficient in Andar usage and Access is desirable.
6. Utilizes creative customer focused service skills to achieve desired results.
7. Demonstrates ability to work as a team player in group or other related projects.
8. Demonstrated ability to grow revenue and build relationships.
